Great intro to sours
A nice, tart, fruity introduction to Flanders. This beer is enjoyable right through to the end of the can. It will leave you wondering, what is the Grand Cru like?

Good(3*)
Tart berry flavours with dry oaked finish. Sweeter flavours come thru late and linger.

Good
Pours a deep red with a medium creamy head. Aroma is fruity, leaning towards plum and cherry. First sip is what gets you if you like sours, tart taste that lasts till the last drop.

Refreshing and different
Although I'm not all that familiar with sours, I found this one to be a nice change from my usual staples (pales, IPAs and dark beers). I suppose dark fruits would have to be the focal point of this beer. Almost like a chilled, carbonated red wine. As an occasional red wine drinker, that could well be its appeal for me - the two worlds colliding (beer and wine). Sour connoisseurs may read this and wonder what I'm on, but that's how I can best describe it, anyway ;)

Very good
A classic. Very accessible sour for the price and also a good introduction to sour beers (along with being great no matter how many sour beers you have tried). Slightly sour with sherbet, vinegar, oak and slight berries all mixing together.
