The line-up:
1. Pirate Life Belma IPA 355ml Can
Belma IPA showcases a really cool hop variety out of the US, Belma. Unlike most hops, which are developed through international breeding programs, it was discovered growing roadside near Puterbaugh Farms in the Yakima Valley. ABV 6.5%
2. Hop Nation Eggers IIPA 440ml Can
In 2023, Hop Nation kicked off a new series that – fittingly given their name – centered around different New Zealand hops. After taking in the country’s deep south, Nelson Lakes and Freestyle’s farms, the Melbourne brewery’s fourth entry is focused on those that come courtesy of the Eggers family, who have been growing hops in the Moutere Valley for six generations.
To show off the Eggers' farm, Hop Nation heavily dry-hopped a double IPA with Nelson Sauvin, alongside some Mosaic Cryo. Breathe it all in, imagine you’re in Moutere and you’ll be treated to fresh orange, grapefruit rind, a heavy dose of passionfruit and a whisper of nectarine. But while hops might be the star, there’s also an astute malt presence bringing balance via a touch of caramel to a beer that proved a winner when they showcased it at the Point Break Brewery Invitational. ABV 8%
3. Bentspoke Bract To The Ditch NZ IPA 375ml Can
Bract To the Ditch is a NZ IPA brewed with the exclusive NZ 109 and NZ 106 hops as part of the Bract Program. We hopped on our bikes and pedalled into the brewery to do what we do best—craft a big, bold, and hoppy NZ IPA. Bursting with juicy tropical fruit aromas and flavours, this IPA is the perfect pintable for those laid-back afternoons when you're off the saddle. ABV 7.2%
4. Frenchies Aurora Australis Wonder Ale 330ml Can
Brewed on Christmas Eve 2023 – because when you love beer, the fun never ends – we’ve matured this Dark Red Belgian Ale over summer and autumn, ready to help you create all those winter festive vibes throughout the cooler months. ABV 12.5%
5. Fox Friday Hazy Pale Ale 375ml Can
We brew our Hazy Pale with oats and wheat to pump up the silky mouthfeel, while we rely on Citra, Citra Cryo and Rakau to pump up the juice. Expect aromas of sweet tropical fruit, lime candy and melon. ABV 4.5%
6. Akasha Citrus Test IPA 375ml Can
This IPA boasts a light haze and dense foam, making it a must-try for all beer lovers. Cascade, Centennial, Eclipse, and HBC 638 hops deliver a citrus powerhouse of fresh zest, fleshy aromas, and pithy bitterness. It's an IPA like no other. ABV 6.9%
7. Kaiju! Koldsplif West Coast Pilsner 375ml Can
Brewed for Grape & Grain's 11th Birthday. ABV 5.2%
8. Boatrocker Northern Red English Red Ale
Inspired by the ales of Northern England, we have crafted a Red Ale that walks the fine line of drinkability and robust flavour.
Burnt caramel and biscuit dominate the palate with subtle fruity and herbal esters. Despite its rough edges, it's a brew with undeniable charm, perfect for those who appreciate a bit of grit with their pint. Tastes Boss. ABV 4.5%
9. Sunday Road Cali IPA 440ml Can
Bright IPA generously loaded with Idaho 7 Cryo, HBC 1019 and Cascade hops, giving a big juicy aroma and balanced bitterness over a light malt base ABV 6.6%
10. Molly Rose Red IIPA 375ml Can
Bold, malty and stunningly hoppy! Idaho 7, Centennial, Citra and Motueka layer with rich malt and a balanced bitterness. ABV 8%
11. White Bay Road Trippin' American Pale Ale 440ml Can
In the spirit of Karouac-like adventure, we've brewed this Americn Pale Ale with 100% New Zealand hops - two of the best bucket-list road trip locations smashed together. In our minds, we're packing up the van, burning rubber and hittin' the road. ABV 5.8%
12. Sailors Grave Law of the Tongue Smoked Oyster Stout 355ml Can
Smokey Oyster Stout brewed with Wapengo Rocks oysters & Sunrise limes
This is the story of an Orca named Old Tom, who during the early 20th century spent almost four decades helping Sapphire Coast whalers catch baleen whales.
In return, Old Tom and his pod feasted on the lips and tongues of the whalers’ haul, then the Orca’s would leave the rest of the carcass for the whalers, this was known as the ‘Law of the Tongue’.
This relationship was established over centuries with the local indigenous people, the Yuin tribe, who believed the killer whales to be their totem animal and reincarnations of their ancestors.
An Oyster Stout brewed in collaboration with Wapango Rocks Wild Organic Oysters. 80 dozen oysters harvested by Shane Buckley from Wapengo Rocks were added to the kettle to provide subtle mineral and ocean flavours. Also brewed with Beechwood smoked malt, lactose and Sunrise Limes (a cross between a native lime and a cumquat) from Murray View Organics. Smooth, creamy and full-bodied with a bacon-like smokiness and citrus kick in the tail. Impenetrably dark and beautifully balanced. ABV 5.8%
