A medium carbonation, not flat like some others. Dark colour for an ale and lovely bitter finish.
Best enjoyed slightly chilled whilst listening to Piece of Mind.

The 3rd beer in this session is an English beer (you might want to try this Jess) Trooper, from Robinson’s brewery.
4.7%, 500ml but has a lovely taste almost reminds me at first sip of a lemon squash, malt to follow through - inspired by Iron Maiden and made with, the help of, vocalist (and beer enthusiast) Bruce Dickinson an easy drinking, good beer
I say ol’ chap - I’ll have arf!

I was worried might be just a bit of clever merchandising, but found this is actually a very good beer, and the fact they’ve apparently sold 15million+ pints in the last few years shows it’s not just Iron Maiden fans buying it. Sweet aroma, copper colour, body that’s lighter than it looks... it’s both a flavoursome satisfying beer, whilst remaining an easy drinking one. A bit pricey in our part of the world, but hey that’s more a harsh reality rather than a complaint.
